Terms and Conditions
1. The initial deposit of £100 reserves your event date, covers the admin and design costs and is non refundable.
2. The balance payment must be received by the due date on the invoice or the cake order will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded. Late payments leave less time to make sugar decorations and the original design can no longer be guaranteed.
3. The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style or flavours of the cake. Up to this date orders can be increased in size but not decreased.
4. Fifi’s Cakery is not responsible for any damage to the cakes after set up is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cakes. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table and optimal room temperature and out of direct sunlight.
5. If flowers are provided by an outside source we will arrange them around the base of the cake. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt and other contaminants. If flowers are to be placed directly on the cake, organic flowers should be used and the exterior icing removed before serving.
6. Fifi’s Cakery will photograph the cake from all angles and reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
7. Fifi’s Cakery products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
8. Storage of any left over cakes after the event is the client’s responsibility and Fifi’s Cakery will not be held accountable for any deterioration of the product due to incorrect storage over a period of time beyond the event date.
9. Written quotes are valid for 8 weeks only, prices may change and any quotes older than 8 weeks are subject to be amended in accordance with the new pricing structure unless both parties have agreed on the original quote in writing and the customer has paid the deposit.
10. Fifi’s Cakery has the right to refuse to continue with a booking in the presence of rude, abusive or inappropriate behaviour.
11. Cake orders postponed by the customer due to any circumstances, either personal or environmental, will be moved to another agreed date free of charge. Cakes postponed to a different calendar year will incur the annual price increase of 10%
